Re: which engine is best?

you want to hold it at top revvs for a while, well thats totally silly going for a four stroke then.

you need a two stroke engine....

Re: which engine is best?

am looking at using a 4 stroke more for reliablity as would only be able to use 100cc 2 stroke and and they only produce good power at silly revs which dont like and then would also mean would have to run 2 fuel tanks etc which equals more weight.

any other help much appreciated

u want a stroke bomb?

cause he aint going to go for a 2 stroke cause of the heat and wear that and it would blow up at full revs for that long

I think what u want is a takegawa or kitaco DOHC 125-160 as they produce lots more power but at a heafty price but u get what you pay for

Re: which engine is best?

i used to run tzr 250 and never blew it up but they only rev to 10000rpm and 100cc kart engine rev to around 15000 + revs which is to much for me and to much setting up,no torque and high maintenance like despise said. four strokes are torquey and grunting making it easyer to get to full revs rather than waiting for it to hit the power band like on 2 stroke

Re: which engine is best?

well you would be better with a 2 stroker on the front as they are lighter.
