Peoples thoughts on what engine to use

Really as the title says what 125cc pitbike engine would
people go for doing supermoto for fab racing?

I dunno what classes fab runs, but NMRRC we all run yx140 minimum

Engines can be tuned but have to be a max 127cc

can be ported
high comp piston
cam etc

Do they have to be pit bike engines or while any engine config be ok?

The 2%rule isn't there to be abused

Always have your motor on the cc limit or from factory (yx 160 is really 161cc)

The 2% allowed is so you can .5mm piston and more freedom on bore x stroke
