Re: Can You Put an Oil Cooler on an Engine That isn't designed for one?
Well there must be a reason for them or they wouldn't exist, eh?

Re: Can You Put an Oil Cooler on an Engine That isn't designed for one?
They help to keep your engine running cool on these hot summer days to stop it from burning up. Not necercery on a stock 125 engine but well worth having one to keep the engine as cool as possible.
They are a must on the 140's as the cooling fins are not capable of cooling the engine fast enough so it heats up real quick and would start to overheat if it was kept running long enough.

Re: Can You Put an Oil Cooler on an Engine That isn't designed for one?
also for those of you that have the cooler at the front near the front fender, the front fender should actully be taken off so the cooler can actully get cooled rather than sitting there all pretty.
For offroad I recommend you use the billet honda style cooler so stones and hit dont end end up beating it to pulp
For tarmac you can use either but the finns cooler will work more efficient
