maintenance
What should I do when Maintaning my bike, I have just changed my oil, cleaned spark plug. Going to get a new one tomorrow And I am going to be cleaning my carb later and check my jets. Is there anything else I should check or change.

Check all disc/sproket bolts.
Check all bolts holding your calipers on.
Check both engine mounts.
Thats what i do at the end of every session.

or just loctite them in the 1st place
or nylon nuts
valve lash should be check every 300 or so miles, in offroad terms thats about twice a year.
chain grease the non flick stuff, chain adjustment, wheel bearings lubed. I could go on....

Don't WD40 the chain, it will dissolve any lube that's in it.

grease.
preferably very think, gungy, sticky grease.
as this won't come off your chain when heated up, as easy as other things.
when doing your chain,
after every ride. i take it off, and clean it in petrol, then grease it up, and put it back on.

We use Putoline chain wax. Good stuff, doesn't flick off either
I'm sure some of the other guys will let you know what they're using.

A quick tip is to oil your chain when it's warm, as this helps the grease/oil to get into all the nooks and crannies.
