I have just bought a monster .

After checking bike over noticed that it was leaking coolant and water pump cover was fractured .
Currently replacing waterpump seals and impeller bearings and have managed to get the waterpump cover welded .
Choke / idle switch was broken and linkage bearings little fucked . One fork seal leaking as well .
Bit more work than I planned but that's what it's all about .

Good job on getting it welded

when i cased my cr when i was alot younger i put hole in my water pump cover too. i used amorite stuff to patch it up and it held it good lol it did the job

also my water pump seal had gone the coolant had got oil n petrol in it but sorted that easy fix, loved that bike shamed it got stolen :/

question mate how hard are fork seals to replace my lads QR50 needs them replacing oil coming up out the forks just dont wanna fork out silly money to get it done by a shop if its a relitivly easy fix?

I've heard Paddziuk can do a good job bump starting it for you if you struggle

Starting its a piece of piss , it's after you reach warp factor 5 stopping becomes a problem
