Road Legal Pit Help

Right,

I know this is an early post for me, but i've been googling around for an answer to this. I noticed on Yahoo answers that most peoples response to getting a pit on the road is "no, these are almost impossible to get road legal", "fairytale made up by people" etc etc, is this actually true?

In 2015 if i want a pit road legal with a "daytime MOT", is it still doable and if so what are the things you need;

horn, road legal tyres, number plate? Will it not be near on impossible to pass an MSVA?

anything is possible, its more that most dont want to do it properly or spend the cash.

Proper loom, stator, lights and switch gear and you can get it through the MSVA.

Would I be right in saying you can get around doing an msva?
