My Road Legal Pit Bike Project!

Hi all


This is my road legal pit bike project thread!


I got my first pit bike off a mate about 6 months ago (the orange heap in the background of the pics!) and planned to make that road legal but when i looked into it it seemed easier to start over from scratch


I'm building it as something to mess around on in the summer and to stop me having to use my car for work so much (vdubs are where the hardearned usually dissapears!) I bought the road registered frame just after xmas and over the last few months i've bought, customised or fabricated everything on it. But anyway heres a couple of pics of where im up to with it...







Its about 90% finished, still waiting on a few bits to arrive and got a few bits i wanna change but i'll update this soon...

How do you make your bike road legal?

Cheers mate, its turning out better then i thought it would!

I bought a road legal shineray frame that came with the logbook, tax etc then added all the bits like a normal off road pit bike but with the road legal loom for lights speedo indicators etc etc.

damn that is nice buddy i got an offroad xplorer basically identical frames to the shinerays but ye that is well nice i could just imagine u ridin dat through a city or town m8 lol. Nyc 1. Alex.

you have to get it sva tested 1st then after that havent got a clue lol, but aint it alot of hassle.


fukin gorgous pit there mate, where did u get the headlight from, and how much is it for that licence plate cuse i would love to have 1 that small on my pit.
