How to Wheelie?

Right, Ive been trying to wheelie my pit bike, I would have it in second, give it some revs and drop the clutch, I can get it in the back wheel but can't keep it there. I give it more throttle but the bike doesn't stay up..

Any tecniques on how to get a good wheelie going?

Not that I'm very good, You've got to get the front wheel up high enough to the point where it feels like it's gonna flip. Hold it just there and if u go too far use the foot brake to stop yourself from going over the back.

Re: How to Wheelie?

I've been experimenting recently with wheelies too.
The easiest way i can do it is, trundle along at just a bit slower than walking pace.
Pull in the clutch, build the revs up a bit and drop the clutch. I also sit right at the back of the seat and give the handlebars a bit of a pull and it flys up with ease.

To stop me going over the back i just pull the clutch in when i feel like i'm going to far. I can't use the foot brake, just doesn't feel right.
