Help with YZ125

Hi guys, need help

When i start to ride my yz 125 hard, it just bogs and dies, and then wont start again. I think it is fouling the plug. Its also really smoky. I know its to do with the mixture screw, but im not really sure what altering it does, does turning the screw in make it run richer? or leaner?

Thanks

Pull the choke fully up, untill it clicks.. give the bike a kick if its not starting in 5 kicks then somethings wrong.

either not enough petrol is getting there or to much is.

my mixture screw is 3 1/2 turns out, only mod is a FMF fatty can

What colour is the plug after you've ridden it hard.

When was the last time you had the crank seals done?
