ideas for filming at the track (rc helicopter)

got myself one of those md80 mini camera's, would an electric rc helicopter be able to fly with the extra weight of one mounted underneath it? there's some quite big but cheap one's on ebay so might give it a go. would look sick if it worked

any one into rc choppers? opinions/ideas?

cheers

rc choppers are expensive and if you can blag someone to risk theirs to film you fair play, but you could just use a hi wire to get the shots, use strongest fishing lines you can get and use a rod n reel to tow the camera along!!

looking at a really basic syma, only 3 channels so shouldn't be overly hard to master (he says). like i said it'd be mint if it works

the basic ones on ebay are around 70 quid which wouldnt be bad, would have a laugh out of it at least.

not sure if high wires would be any more reliable than me trying to follow riders round, plus it'd be more hassle at say tormarton as we'd have to get poles etc as there's no trees

it would have to be a tiny camera esle it wouldnt fly.
use a hi wire fixed to couple of 5meter poles and a good camera
should be easier and better vids as can use a good camera
