Or use a Dremel tool, grind it flat then polish it out.

I got a 125 so it says 154fmi
It's under the gear lever
If you can get a file at it rub filler over it and paint it black

So done the c.c stamp on head ... now the engine number on gearbox will the old bill be able to tell much from it ... what about if I get the vin plate changed to accommodate the new engine number ?

Take the vin plate off completely, they normally have VIN stamped into the headstock so no need for a plate aswell.

Nah, use a Thatcham padlock and chain on mine, much safer aswell.
