Re: Front brake pads problem
If you mean the pad is lightly touching the disc slowing down a tiny bit, it's fine. Floating caliper should sort that once you ride it.
If it's something more you might have to push the piston in more or check something else isn't catching it... Like the dreaded caliper springs!

Re: Front brake pads problem
Yeah I mean the pads are catching the disc, it's as though after pulling the leaver the pads aren't moving back out enough, it's not bad it's just slightly but you can hear the rubbing on the disc. I have rode the bike after and that hasn't sorted it either...

Sounds alright to me bud, the pads don't move right away from the disk, otherwise you wouldn't get instant braking. But if you want you can give your disk and pads a wipe over with a clean cloth if you want, you might have a bit of dirt on them

Re: Front brake pads problem
on the inside of the unit there is ,or should be a funny looking clip witch holds them both in ,and as for the other problem with the piston stuck out if you can get both pads in get an old cloth and place it side it and use a fare sized screw driver to pray it open until it fits over the disc on you wheel
