I've currently got a 1997 Vauxhall Corsa. Totally standard, I can't be bothered fitting a HUGE exhaust and putting an induction kit to squeeze an extra 2 hp out of a 1.6 engine. It's just pointless.

To the OP: For your first car buy something simple and leave it as it as. Modifying a nasty car will just cost alot of money, make things worse and make you look like a fool. Save your money and get a decent car a few years down the line. If you still want a heavily modified Satria, I'm sure you'll grow out of liking flame-spitting exhausts and neons eventually anyway.

Anyway, speaking of dream cars, I want a new white BMW M3 in a few years:

no he isnt doing that. that car is to new to be run of a carb it will be fuel injected. to make the flames he will most likey have got a flamer kit which is basically a cheap anti lag system but without a turbo. all it does is throw petrol into the hot exhaust. he is reving it because when the engine is slowing down it stops using petrol and pumps air alowing the petrol to burn.
a waste of time and money imo

although i do agree that his girlfriend is probably very un-amused

Yess, does look like it could be running a flamer kit. A Very poorly made one at that. I used to make flamer kits with a mate of mine, We fitted one to his Escort GTi and his MR2 Turbo. Created MUCH better flames than that sh!t too. Dont have any videos but heres a picture of the MR2 we fitted it to.

u got some skill in making stuff( make 1 for a pit bike )
