125cc 2stroke or 250cc 4stoke?
Hi im planning to buy a motocross bike, im 16 and im 5ft11. Im not sure which would be better for me a 125 or a 250f. I currently ride pit bikes and find them quite slow and easy to ride and jump. I like the power delivery of a 4stroke but i am not sure how expensive to run they are compared to a 2 stroke?

2 strokes will run for ever if you look after it
but i prefer 4 stroke less fooking about and dont need engine rebuilds

yes it would be cheaper to maintain than a 2 stroke.
my dads mate has a ktm 200 and he gets rebuilds alot but on a 4 stroke there is no need
depends on what kind of rider you are

I would go with 2 smoke because if it blows up it wont cost much, But if a 4 stroke blows up then you have to pay 100's of pounds to fix
