Re: Fuel Pissing out form Carb Overflow
Might sound silly, but have you checked the screw at the bottom of the carb by the overflow?

Re: Fuel Pissing out form Carb Overflow
Could do if it was very loose, otherwise it just allows fuel out through the overflow, works like a tap.

No worries. if its not the screw then it will be the float, a good quick check for this is hold the the tube upright above the hieght of the carb, if the petrol goes higher in the tube than the hieght of the bowl then the float needs sorting. Hope that makes sense

Mate, sounds like your float bowl in bottom of carb is stuck open, allowing fuel to pass through straight out of the overflow pipe.Quick way to check is to take off your carb & give it a gentle shake,if you can not hear the float bowl rattling you know it is stuck.

Re: Fuel Pissing out form Carb Overflow
sometimes the float gets stuck up at the top and allows fuel to flow through if you take the carb bowl of and turn it the right way round the float should drop down and you can check the needle valve make sure the little bit of plate is pushing the needle all the way home if not gently bend it with a clean set of pliers so it pushes the needle all the way home
