Re: 250 4stroke info?

Well a Honda CB250 is a 250 4 stroke, and will see you for mile after mile.
On the other hand, a Honda CRF250 will also see you for mile after mile, but with a costly rebuild, or at least a fair amount of maintenance every now and then.

It entirely depends on what bike you've gone for. My YZF (Granted, it's a 450), but the maintainable is fairly high. People state a new piston every 1000 miles. But as long as you change the oil every few 100 miles, it probably wont need a piston for a f*cking long time.

I've done over 1000 miles on my YZF now, and Not dont anything other than basic servicing, and regular oil changes with top quality oil.

cheers
top end id say arround 6 months to a year depends how u rag it
full id say u would get a year and a half to 2 but if your racing probably a season cause ive seen 450s cease crank bearings and wreck the engine
if i was you oil change evry 2 and keep on top of filters etc
they seem to be bullteproof if they are maintained correctly
