Re: stunt brake caliper

Looks like some crappy old caliper the dude is trying to offload and he knows it, so added on the 'stunt' option to make it sell to the unwise....

Wtf would you want a cable AND hydraulic worked caliper for, it's not like you have a handbrake!

Re: stunt brake caliper

Not 100% but looks like my old caliper - I sold it through here to someone (might have been Mart/Chris? ).

Its so you can hook it up to your normal rear brake pedal and a lever on the bars - wheelies etc?

Yep it the one I bought from J.I.M, bit wide for my bike but would work well when set up.

Dont worry - I didnt dare think for a second it could compete with one of your ideas

It would have been fine for 10/15 quid which is what I sold it for.

Re: stunt brake caliper

a "stunt" brake is just another selling tactic most stunt riders just get a longer line and use a thumb lever and completly do away with the rear pedel

would be worth a fiver at the most looks abit bashed

simple way to get one is use a double banjo bolt like most sports bikes run on the front for duel brake lines

I also sold it on for £15 which is good for this perfectly usable caliper
