Post Whats in your tool box?

Hey,
whats your Tool box or Workshop have in it for working on your Pit bike

Here the tools Ive found over the past few years Ive needed to properly work on My Bikes. some of these maybe extreme but nessesary to maintain your bikes or Big Bikes and not have to go somewhere else to get it done.

Feel free to add to the tool box what you have that can help others

Pit bike Tools...You Need and some you dont


Metric Tools:
1/4 & 3/8 inch Drive Ratchets
3/8 inch Short and Tall 6 point Sockets 10mm-19mm
1/4 inch Socket set 6mm-15mm (source any extra to get what you need)
24mm Deep socket (for head set nuts)
Spark plug Socket
3/8 & 1/4 inch Extensions short & long
Wrenches 6mm-22mm
Allen wrenches (Metric & standard)
T-Handel Sockets 8mm-19mm (good to have) not nessesary
T-Handel hex 2.5-10mm (Set) Not Nessesary

Hand Tools:
Thin long & Short regular screw driver
Thin short & Long Phillips (#4,#6 heads)
Snap Ring Pliers
Needle Nose Pliers
Small Punch
Large Brass Drift (punch)
Rubber Mallet
Med size Ball Peen Hammer
Hacksaw with (metal cutting blades)
Wire cutters
flat blade scraper (real good for gasket scraping)
Misc. Coarse & Fine Files
Cordless Drill with good selection of Drill Bits.


Specialty Tools:
3/8 inch Torque wrench (mechanical or Digital) "source a conversion chart"
Battery Operated Impact Gun (Best tool I own )
3/8 inch Impact driver
Dremel tool
Safety wire pliers
Flywheel Puller CRf50 style and (if you have a KLX external puller)
Inner rotor Puller (your going to need this) if you have IRK
Metric and Standard feeler guages (a must)
Valve adjusting tools "Tappet Set" (a Must)
Valve spring Compressor (a plus if you in to rebuilding heads)
Volt Meter battery operated (12 volt)
Spring Hook
Spoke wrench (assorted good ones)
Chain Tool
Wire Crimper tool
Cable Luber
Wire brush
metric metal ruler
Metric Tap & Die Set (A must)
Magnetic pick-up tool
Air Compressor or Portable Tank
Tire Iron Tools (a good set of 3)
Park tools Truing stand ( I build lots of wheels)

Suspension Tools:
Shock spanner wrench
Sag tool or (Tape measure)
Shock Spring Compression tool
ratio cup that Measures cc's and floz
syringe that measures cc's and floz
Fork Oil/Fluid carry recomended wt (5wt,7wt,10wt,15wt and 20wt)


Fluids Misc:
Loctite (Blue and Red)
Safety wire
Electrical tape
Duct tape
Waterproof Grease
Chain Lube
Vacuum pump bleeder kit (Good tool for doing brakes) quick service!
Dot 3,4 Brake Fluid
Brake Clean
Foam Filter Oil
Carb Cleaner
Mechanics Gloves
Latex Gloves
Hand Cleaner

Work Bench:
Rollaway or Carry Tool Box
Vice mounted on your bench
Cabinets to store stuff
Bike stand (Metal or Custom Milk Crate)

I took a Solid 6ft long bench Plywood the sides, My waist height, Put lockable HD industrial wheels on it and a wheel chock along with a set of Tie downs. and Made a awesome "Midsized pit bike Friendly" portable work station. So if you have the space get the bike up off the floor, to where its comfortable to work on.

just thought this might help you get started or advance you if you been in it awhile.
