brake switch

Evening guys, hoping someone can help in the middle of a random build and need to find a way to fit a brake light switch to a standard brake, would It be easier buying the complete lever and cylinder etc of a moped so it has it all bolted on? Or is there a way to attach one?

Re: brake switch

You could bit a hydraulicly operated one. Sits after the banjo joint. Here's mine below.

Or if it's cheaper I bought a front master cylinder from PBS with a micro switch attached.

I just checked there and can't see them now. They have a habbit off unlisting out off stock items, which is good in a way! Here's the one I got a few months back .

Re: brake switch

If you have the banjo fitting for the brake hose and the bolt that holds it on with the copper sealing washers then a easy solution is a pressure switch bolt like this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Goodridge-...item51d1d53145

pretty sure 10mm x 1.25 is the correct size to fit a pitbike master
