Re: quads are dangerous

what happened, im guessing the nut was loose, fell off,

usually theres a pin in the nut that goes thru the axel to hold it in place. i doubt your friend had one though

was it repairable?

Re: quads are dangerous

what does it matter, some threadlock, or a nylon threaded bolt and it wont ever come loose again.

my atc wheel came loose and was missing a washer so wheel was loose and almost falling off, did i throw a hissy fit, no i stuck a washer on there and tightened it, job sorted.

crap happens. don't let it put you off.

Re: quads are dangerous

how much does he want for it.

imho, my atc is more fun than my pit, probs a tad slower, but hell of a lot more fun in the wet and corners

if its 100 or so, i'd go for the quad,

depends what condition its in really.
