Pitbike Modification Recommendation

Hi I am just wondering what kind of modification would you guys recommend to start with?
I have a standard 140cc Slam pitbike with Volt rear shock...
Was looking to just boost the performance a little bit without spending a lot of money?

are you racing? High comp piston is the biggest £ per BHP you will get.

Yeah I would say I will go with a carb first!

Not racing... Well not yet! just a group of about 10 of us go up to a local go kart track at the moment! It's starting to get popular in Ireland now so it probably won't be long until we are racing!

in case you change your mind

Minimoto Racing Club Of Ireland on facebook is the place to look

BTW I personally have seen guys on stock carbs go very well, and genuinely don't think you can beat a high comp piston for impact - just remember it aint legal in the stock classes, so you will have to swap back to stock if you do go racing.

Thanks man I actually done a Demo with Pitbike and Mini Moto Racing Ireland at the Scooter and Motorcycle Show in the RDS this year...
It was only my second time on the bike (and on a bike in general) and I was against Irish Superbike Champion, a load of road racers and short circuit riders great craic though!!

What modifications can you have in the stock class?
