as i said mate put a little plastic pipe with a slit up the side inside the carb above the slide if you unscrew the carb top youll see what i mean, but theres a few lads on here from NI, they maybe close enough to help

I made a spacer to fit in my nephews carb that sat between the slide and the screw on cap so he couldn't give it full revs, I used an old pen lid to begin with just cutting it down and testing till I got it to where It felt best then machined a spacer hope this helps mate

Easiest way to reduce speed is to put smallest front sprocket on

then put a throttle restricted cable on to reduce acceleration

I know on lifan's they are by the stator at the bottom of the casing near gear changer arm haven't looked on my stomp
