Help with 49cc mini bike

Just got a little cheap bike for my cousin to learn on (see pic)

It needed new rings and a new pick up coil and rear shock.

iv got the new coil, trying to find a shock off an old mountain bike and the rings are ordered.

When i get the rings on how do i get the barrel back on without damaging the new rings ?

Push the rings in, and slide the barrel on 1 by 1... its a tricky job.. Good luck!

lube her up and make sure the rings are in the right place

im i right in one ring goes with the gap up and one goes wih the gap down ?

make sure where the gap is it is where the pin in the piston is squeeze them push the barrel on then squeeze the next one on and pushe the barrel down
