dunlop do a tyre, can't remember the name of it and continental do some conti twists, theres sava tyres also. but theres a reason pmt's are popular. i did a back to back with some scrubs of i don't even know what they were then jumped onto some pmt's and the difference was quite big

PMT S or Dunlop TT92GP for dry

PMT R or R Wet or Dunlop.... not sure on name

Are the tyres of choice.

Some like SAVAs, but I've found they are terrible in cold/damp conditions
