Looking to turn my bike into sm for tarmac fun!

Hello mate welcome!

Dont think it has to be a one piece, however must be a two piece that zips together. I'd advise one piece though!!

What bike have you got?

If you want to keep costs down, go to your local dealers, try a few on, figure out what size you are, then got on ebay and buy a set someone has crashed in, scuffed and are selling cheap.

You will save a packet, and you WILL crash, so no point getting a super perfect pair if cash is a bit tight.

You can use zip together, but I prefer the extra safety in a one peice.

Re: Looking to start pitbike sm

Excellent thank you, will have a look about!!

I've recently just got a stomp 140 z2, really keen on sm!

What work would need to be done to my bike? I know you would need wheels and tyres, crash bobbins, oil catch tray and maybe handle bar guards?? Would there be much else??

Thanks again in advance

Adam

You've mentioned most things. You will need a drilled and lockwired sump plug too.

Once you find your feet and get up to speed your next thing will be suspension, rubber and brakes.
