CR85 road legal supermoto
Been building this over winter, started as a 2003 big wheel CR85, completely stripped to frame, powder coated and airbrushed, rebuilt motor, EBC big brake setup, imported rims from the states built by central wheel onto CR hubs.
All mot'd and went for first blast yesterday it's a mental wheelie machine !

I had the rear shock rebuilt and used a custom spring in it, front had oil change and is still a bit softer than I want as it dives a lot under braking but the big disk up front grabs like hell, went out on it for the first time yesterday so need some more time to dial it in right yet..
Just ordered some different gearing for more top end as the 15/50 setup was wheeling off throttle in 2nd and 3rd into 4th and 1st was useless so should be taller gearing with a 16/47 setup on

Re: CR85 road legal supermoto
I'm running pit bike wheels rather than the stock, so the biggest stock rear sprocket is 41, so I've had to come right down on the front to keep it with a bit of umph.
How did you got about road reging it?

Got a year of manufacture document off Honda uk, stuck a push bike horn on it from halfords, got it insured on frame number, mot'd, sent that lot off to dvla, job done.. Well that does make it sound easier than it was lol bit of paperwork grief back and forward and it did end up taking about a month to sort but well worth it and insurance was only £50 for a year !

Looks wicked!
I need to pull my finger out and get my 2t build finished. It's also road registered.
We could go for a few road tear-ups if you're local enough.
