Damage at Whilton

It pains and annoys me to have to write this but during the last meeting at Whilton Mill various damage was caused to the circuits facilities.

Firstly the electrics box in the parc ferme (cow shed to you and me) had it's door ripped off just because someone couldn't be bothered to contact the circuit and pay their fee to use the electrics.

Secondly two tannoy systems were damaged at the back of the paddock area. One had it's post snapped and the other had been ragged back and forth until it was out of the ground.

This has seriously put the availability of the circuit into jeopardy.

If you have any concrete information regarding these incidents then please contact Nicky on 07736 001318 asap so we can clear this up asap. If it doesn't get sorted then the members will have to foot the bill for the repairs.

This sort of behaviour is not and has never been acceptable. Parents had better start getting a grip of their offspring before we have to introduce curfews for under 18s and the adults who should know better need to think before they destroy circuit property just so they can save a few quid by stealing the circuits electricity. If it isn't nipped in the bud then there will be nowhere to race or the club will have to employ security guards which will have an astronomical effect on your race entry fees.

You are guests at these circuits and the staff and track property are to be treated with the upmost respect at all times.

To say the circuit owner is not a happy bunny doesn't even cover it as he was apoplectic with rage.

Truly disgusting, but with any thing in life it attracts gimps who steal damage and don't give a toss about anything but them selfs.
I hope you catch them and ban them form the venue.

i gotta ask, how can people even be on site with no staff from there present? and if they do allow people to use the place un attended dont they keep a record of who was there at the time? or cctv?
