Stomp Elite Rebuild

Having owned my thumpstar for a good few years now, i have decided to give it to my daughter and get something with a bit more poke!

This has come in the shape of a 2007 stomp elite 140, purchased for £150 with a broken kickstart. I picked it up Friday afternoon & it was stripped down to every nut & bolt by Tea Time. It transpires that the problem was the countershaft bearing had shattered! only damaging the primary drive, fortunately it has not caused any other damage!

I had already decided that i did not like the standard colour scheme and that major changes were in order. I was so keen to get it in bits to find the problem that i only took a reference pic of the clutch and forgot to take a before pic of the complete bike!

Below you'll see my choice in frame colour, i colour matched an old 1985 suzuki frame that i have and mixed the colour from that. As you will probably have guessed by now, i will be fitting yellow plastics soon, along with a few other bits n bobs........

Here she is for now, just waiting for the engine parts to arrive for the motor rebuild more soon......

BACK TOGETHER AS A ROLLER AGAIN!

Right then, i now have the engine back together and dropped in into the frame today, as i fitted all the other new bearings last night, wheels, swing arm & headstock.
Here's a quick-pic of her this afternoon, with the original bars fitted back on temp until i ride it and make a decision on bar size/type etc....
Hope you like it so far

There standard stomp elite fully adjustable forks.

Seem to be of very good quality to me, comparing them to mx forks, as i have only ever had one pitbike (still got it) before, but quite a few 250's (3xYZ, 2xCR & 2xKX all 2-stroke)
